Every christmas, I usually send round a merry christmas text to all my contacts.. but being an iphone user; I had to type out EVERY SINGLE TEXT, to EVERY SINGLE PERSON.
Now I'm not one of these guys complaining about forwarding messages, but I just wondered if anyone had the same experience as me :).

Have a great Christmas, and I have a brand spanking new aluminum 2.4ghz Macbook. :D:D:D:D:D

You typed out a hundred merry Christmas texts?!!??:eek::eek:

Yeah, you can text multiple people at once...well maybe next year, huh?;)

Not to beat a partially dead horse, but... Yep... Multiple-recipient text messages have been possible for quite a while now.

Merry Christmas, buddy

Sorry, couldn't resist. :D

Wirelessly posted (Jeff's iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5G77 Safari/525.20)

I used irealsms and sent my merry Xmas message to a bunch of people at once. :)

I think the problem here is that he wasn't able to forward :p BUT yes sending to multiple people has been on the iPhone for a loooooooong time.

I bought a crappy little motorola for $29 to do all the things the iPhone won't do.

I'm sorry, my time is money- and $29 bucks was the cheaper route.

You sound so IMPORTANT!!

Must suck that you wasted a little bit of your time (money) using a different phone to do something the iPhone does fine.

I sent all my texts by hand this year. I don't send them to 100 people, probably only like 40, because out of those 40, at least 39 will text me back.

Well at least the OP had a spankin brand new Macbook ;)
(probably to compensate for "texting" that many aha)

Other than the obvious response of being able to send out multiple recipient messages for a while now, please stop sending out these messages! I can't stand getting messages that I know are mass-produced messages.

Haha, sorry for not replying sooner, I've been out.
Yeah, it seems I've been a little retarded :D.
Ahh well, my mistake, and I got like 60 or so back :).
Well thanks for all your comments telling me I failed :D, like someone said: 'there's always next year'. I might try the facebook status, though so I don't look retarded: at least I might do that right :).

Have a great Chrimbo :D.

Oh, and I don't have a toaster, I'm pretty sure it's an iPhone :), just been trying to sync it with iTunes, and it took me half and hour to work out how to transfer applications. It seems like I'm not too clever :).
I did install windows first time though :D:D.

I sent a multiple text message to 35 different people using Firmware 2.2 on a first gen iPhone.

It took 6 minutes for the iPhone to send it.

I think I attached a picture of my new macbook, although it might not work...

EDIT: Yay! Managed to do it right first time, thats the new macbook, taken with the iphone camrea. And if you look close you can see the iphone on the screen. :)

(Sorry for the rubbish quality) :S
