How much did you think you would spend on iPhone accessories and how much have you?

For some reason, I think I had it in my head that I wasn't going to spend anything at first. I don't get the phone until tomorrow/Wed. and I'm about $50 in for screen protectors and a case so far : ) I'm curious to hear if this is just the beginning of a long slide into iPhone money pit

Hah, nah. I was going to sell a blue bumper to someone here on the forums, but he never replied. I'm just going to sell them all with the phone when it comes time to upgrade next year.

If I would stay off this forum ... I'd quit spending. But I keep finding cool new stuff and then I have to have it. But I haven't gone too crazy. About $50 on cases and $15 for a backup battery from monoprice.

Actual: $0 bumper (refunded), $10 skin, $7 tripod mount from eBay, $50 Motorola MotoRokr speakerphone/FM transmitter, $12 Arkon vent mount for car. Plus $25 iZel stand and $40 IMP500 external USB battery. But those don't count, as they'll also work with the iPad and Kindle.

My only regret is that I didn't find the Motorola and vent mount earlier--I could have been using them all this time with my 1st gen iPhone!

It usually takes me about 10 cases before I find the right one I want. I already have a peilframa,vaja and sena case on order. I am currently using a Griffin case so I would guess about 500 on cases,dock and other stuff.

$20 cheap case first day from Radio shack,18.00 snap on case from the mall as well as front screen protector $15, now ifrogs privacy screen protector $19 and now $50 otterbox, hopefully vapor aluminum bumper once the company get their ***** together $90, oh and then some case i ordered from apple but that was free. For some reason i have this obsession with keeping my phone in pristine shape. can you say OCD!!!!

When I got a new car, I had to purchase a tape adapter. That leaves me:

i've been able to keep it pretty low thus far:
$20 for a barely used Apple bumper (MR member)
$2.85 for the Stealth Guards free clear skin (not installed for now)
free Speck Fitted from free case program (won't ship until Sept.)

so less than $25. i spent twice that on cases for my iPod touch - a SwitchEasy NeoTouch + BodyGuardz. i don't think i'll need anything else though. i'll keep an eye on what else SwitchEasy comes out with, but so far none of their iPhone 4 products have tempted me...
