I've read up a litte online and what I seen is that 4G LTE is 10x faster than 3G. I'm used to 3G speeds and have never used a phone with 4G. Will I notice THAT much of a difference?

Yes 3G is insanely slow, but nothing is worse than 1x on Verizon.

At my apartment (which ill only be here a few more weeks THANK YOU LORD) I either have 1x or 2 bars of 3G. When I'm on 2 bars of 3G it still feels slow but I cry and curse my phone off when I'm on Safari when the white circle appears. I just sit there for 3 minutes to wait for a page to load! Forget about Facebook! lol

My AT&T LTE is really fast in NYC. I don't think I could ever go back to 3G.

Look outside at midnight. Look outside at noon.

That is difference between 3G and LTE (as long as you have a good LTE signal).

Too many variables.

Wcdma "3G" hspa plus (fake 4g) can run just as fast (15-20 Mbps) as LTE under some circumstances.

CDMA (Verizon and sprint) 3G too out around 2.5 mpbs so much slower than hspa 3G fake 4g.

This.

It depends on network type and area.

In my area ATT 3G HSPA+ ("4G") is faster then Verizon's LTE. That's comparing a GSM network to CDMA.

CDMA like Verizon's 3G is very very slow IMO so switch to their LTE network is a noticeable difference.
