How much do you think tethering will cost? Poll

AT&T's normal USB data connect plan is $35 for 200mb, and $60 for unlimited.

Tethering on some other phones is free though... But we all know that free would never happen on AT&T ever... but i'll sill leave it as an option in the poll.

I'd say under $30 for unlimited ($20-25) to give it seperation from the iPad 3G plan.

if it's anywhere between $20-$30 a month you can count me in as my company blocks EVERYTHING on the net. It is a pain to try and listen to Aston Villa's mid-week games. Also I can't even read any articles Yahoo puts out about games, because it has "games" in the title, etc.

If AT&T was smart, an additional $10 charge for unlimited iPhone tethering. More likely than not, it will be an additional $30. It would be nice if the iPhone was a mobile hotspot.

I thought speculation a year ago was that it would probably be a $30 addon to the existing iPhone data plan, for a total of $60/month. And then you are limited to 5GB/month.

I don't pay any extra.
My 30$ 6Gb data plan on Rogers Network include the tethering.

It isn't absurd at all to think that since it is standard operating procedure for a US mobile carrier. It is however absurd that AT&T probably would charge 30$ a month.

Even once they do offer tethering they still won't want people to do it. Charging a lot is the best way I can think of to achieve that goal. It's pretty logical, really.

What are you talking about? AT&T doesn't allow tether now yet I do it..... "I don't think that word means what you think it means."
