When the new MBP hit im wondering what does apple price the old ones at in clearance are they marked down 15% or more. Because at the moment the refurbished MBP 13 inch (the model i want) is priced at 999 about 16 % off its orginal price. Will clearance models be any lower than that or should i just buy it now instead of waiting basically just looking from what apple has done in the past with clearance stuff.

The Apple online store has both clearance and refurbished Macs. Clearance Macs are still brand new in box. They go on sale after new models are released and they're only modestly discounted.

Yes, typically Apple lowers the price on the refurbs when new ones come out. However, don't expect a huge price reduction. If new MBPs are released then you might be looking at savings of between $50-100. The price reductions aren't always immediate either.
