Forgive me for being annoying, for those of your chafed by my series of threads. Furnished my '11 MBP with a 128GB Samsung 470 :D. Fresh install of Lion from Disc, + 8 GB of RAM. Great experience thus far. A Cheap eBay Optical Drive caddy is on order, but I've begun to question whether these disk storage expanding measures are really worth it?

- My previous computer, an Apple Powerbook G4, had a capacity of 60GB, yet I must not have used more than 40GB over the course of 5 1/2+ years.

- My demands have grown somewhat, I am in the Graphic Design field so I may deal with some large files, although there isn't often an imperative to have those files large files linger on my drive. Rather, I'm more concerned about writing and erasing many large files on a TRIM-less SSD, as that would probably wear it down.

- My iTunes collection, which I have amassed over the years, currently sits at 13GB. As for movies and TV shows, I never download such things onto my computer, nor watch many non-iTunes/Vimeo videos for that matter.

- I'm not a software developer, but I intend to become more of a web developer in the coming years.

- I had been using the 320GB stock drive for over 5 months and used over 60 gigs, which includes many transferred files from the PowerBook.

Does it sound like 128GB will suit me fine for years to come? All along, I figured 128 would be just right, now I believe 180 to be that. As for the caddy on order, I could always return it or pop it on eBay and sell it myself. Thanks in advance!
