I got a friend who has some iMac G4s and a quickSilver for sale.
He is not a mac person and just got a bunch from some office place. And we are trying to figure out the price of these.

iMac G4, the kind with the round base and monitor on pedestal has 700mhz, 256mb or ram,40gb hard drive, CDRW.. 10.3 + disks. Keyboard and mouse.

The Powermac is a 800mhz, 512 mb of ram, 10.2 server(with discs)..Keyboard and mouse.. No monitor.

How much for these?

Thanks.

I'd give US$200 for the iMac. It's the slowest of those kind but still a nice thing to look at. The Quicksilver I'm not sure about those pricings. There's a website that'll help one price out Macs of all ages. I don't remember it right now.

I think the website the person is referring to is:
http://www.mac2sell.net/

It says $70 for the iMac (15'' and with CD burner), but I think this iMac generation has a higher value because of its popularity.

The original release 700mhz iMacs aren't worth much these days - $50-100, but usually on the lower end of that scale. I purchased a 1.25ghz 17" model for $150 last year so it just goes to show where the 700mhz model stands.

An 800mhz single Powermac G4 is also worth under $100. I've seen dual 1.25ghz Powermacs going for $150 on craigslist.
