So I got the 12 Pro Max 256 GB. After updating I have 80 GB free. Just wondering how much free space you have after you updated if you got the 256 GB variant. Now I'm second guessing if I should've gotten the 512 GB. I guess I have until Jan 25 or whatever the holiday return date is.
Edit: for what it's worth, I have 80 GB of photos but I'm using iCloud for them so I don't know why that's so high. I also have a lot of local videos that I need to check and remove.
Edit 2: I think I figured it out. I compared it to my 11 PM and see the photo size isn't as high. I'm guessing it's updating the photos to live in iCloud. It has to update about 7k of them. ugh
