How much hard drive space will OS X Snow Leopard take?

Hello.

I have purchased a 60gb SSD for a macbook pro 13 inch. How much space can i expect to have after i install OS X? How much space will i have left over with all the updates..ect??

10GB, if you use Monolingual you can remove unused languages if you haven't deselected them during the installation. You can also remove the printer drivers after the installation or during it. And you can remove unused iLife apps and its supporting files, Garage Band uses 2GB for audio samples.
