After buying my ipad 2 four days back almost everyday i have been pumping in money for accessories. Seems the overheads on this is going to take a toll as equivalent to the ipad itself very soon.

How much have you spent on all the accessories for ipad 2 till now??

These are what i brought and spent.

Wrapsol Front + Back protector. - 34.00 $

Cygnett Anti-Glare screen Protector (temporary until PS anti-glare arrives) - 16.00 $

Square Trade Ipad 2 Warranty - 71.00 $

Glove for iPad Philips Reversible sleeve - 20.00 $

InCase Travel Kit Plus for extra protection when inside a backpack or laptop bag. - 59.00 $

Data Jack Anti-Dust Kit for iPad - 10 of these for 10.00 $

I'm going the cheap route for now until the nicer accessories come out. Here's what I got for now:

• Kensington Netbook Sleeve: $5.00 on Amazon
• Clear TPU case: $7.64 shipped at HHI with coupon: ipadcases20
• eBay Generic Anti-Glare screen protector: $7.89 shipped eBay. Will replace with PowerSupport when the iPad2 Anti-Glare becomes available.

Total: $20.53. I can live with that until the better accesssories come out.

I know that sounds funny... buying two stylus pens.
But i wont be carrying around my FrappeDesign Leather folio at home or out of work, and i would be tucking in one stylus inside the folio for taking notes while in the meetings on Penultimate app.
The second stylus is a backup at home, just incase i forget to pull out the stylus while slipping out the ipad from the folio... i sketch a lot at home when not working.

It would make more sense if I actually had the iPad2, but ordering what I can get is somehow ego-enhancing. My iPad2 apparently (according to Yahoo) has made it to Ta Yuan Hsiang but the earliest it can leave there is 8:20am 03/22 IF they put it on the flight.

HEB (Texas grocery store) had a coupon for $20 off $100 gift card purchase. I did $100 iTunes and $100 Amazon.

$4 and change on 3 pack of antiglare screen protectors @ handhelditems (iPad 1.0 version but punched a hole in top for camera).

So total out of pocket $8 and change. I can't really stomach tossing $ out on overpriced accessories.

Likely more apps in the future, as always. Don't want to know how much I've spent on iOS apps in the years I've owned the devices, especially now with the higher iPad prices.

Not too much new stuff for iPad 2, just the basics - could get higher if I decide to get a new bag in a few months. All this plus a refurbished/used ACD from eBay last night have taken a huge dip in my savings (affordable college student in Canada FTW), not to mention my part time job ends until I get another in June.

I am using a sleeve I had for my ipad 1 until the accessory market stabilizes then I'll order. I do not want a bunch of cases i bough on a whim piling up.

None, I have no case on my MBP, iphone 4 or ipad 2. If things weren't so damn expensive for something so simple then id get them. Till accessories hit the chinese market ill just be cautious.

Ordered cheap sleeve on Amazon ($4)

I plan to return the Griffin case as soon as my cheap Amazon sleeve arrives. So I guess that'll put me at $94 worth of accessories that I'm keeping or have yet to receive.

Oh, I forgot: I got the HDMI adapter, too. So that's another $40 for a total of $134!

All I've bought so far is a targus case today for $43. I've set an accessories + software budget of $150 for myself, so I'm treading lightly until I'm sure about things, but I really really needed a case/stand ASAP. If something better comes along in the next month I might return it.
