Not that I can't buy what/when I want but my girl says it never ends. Why can't I just be happy with my new toy? LOL She's saying isn't that why I bought a NoteBook so I just don't to buy any of these.

Not sure it is the money I saved by buying it on kijiji or I'm being anal that I spent...

All off kijiji, again I'm saving here.

Dell UltraSharp 24" Monitor U2412M ($275) >>> backed out and went less expensive 21.5" UltraThin LED S2230MX. It went on sale last week, for $150 shipped. <<<
Marware Messenger Bag ($40)
Logitech mx Performance Mouse ($80)
Apple MagicTrack Pad ($50)
Microsoft Bluetooth 5000 Mice ($40)
Monoprice Cables ($20)

Almost $380. :(

MBA 13" Base, Best Buy- $1,112.00
Incase MBA Incepio case, Amazon- $32.00

That's it.

Macbook Air 11" (2011) ($1,700)
Dell 2412m ($300)
Dell Sound bar ($50)
Henge Dock ($60)
Apple Bluetooth Keyboard ($70)
Apple Magic Mouse ($70)
Apple Superdrive ($80)
USB audio jack ($15)
500 GB External Hard Drive ($60)
Total Spent - $2,405.

Though I bought the air last year, so this past month around $700 to turn it into a desktop replacement as well.

Edit: I also bought a messenger bag that fits both my Macbook Air and iPad. It was $30 at office depot.

Nobody wants to share how much they've spent? :(

Add $70 to my total.

I bought the Thunderbolt to FireWire 800 adapter & twelve south's BookArc.

I'm thinking about buying my MBA soon. I've also thought about all the add-ons that would be needed:

monitor
two USB hard drives
case
docking station
external mouse and keyboard
3rd party insurance policy

2012 MBA $1174 w/tax
Extra Magsafe2 Power Supply $49
Apple DVD Burner $57
Thunderbolt Ethernet Adapter $30
Targus 15" case $25

Total $1335

Truth being told, the Targus case I used to use for my Netbook and the Thunderbolt adapter was a gift.

2012 MBA 11" = $0 (Was a Christmas Gift)
Apple MagicMouse = $69
Apple USB SuperDrive = $79
DisplayPort to VGA Adapter = $29
2nd MagSafe Power Supply = $0 (someone gave me one from their dead MBA)
MBA Sleeve = $39
Re-used an existing laptop bag = $0

So, my MBA was free and some of my accessories were either free, or pre-existing. So my wife has no complaints about my spending on my toy! :D

I've spent about $280 before tax of accessories when I purchased the MBA last year.

$70 for hard case cover
$90 for hard case bag
$30 for keyboard cover
$40 for soft sleeve bag
$50 for 11" MBA bag
(I know, so many bags.. lol)

Already have Magic Mouse, Keyboard, and monitor with/from other existing devices, which equivalent to around $500-600.

$30 sleeve
$16 Crumpler bag on eBay (score!)
$9.99 MagSafe to MagSafe2 adapter

Mini USB for extra storage- $200
Thule sleeve- $390
Disk Drive- $270

All prices in Hong kong dollar so in usd should be around $110. Might buy an apple tv for streaming movies from my MacBook. With that, altogether, $212. In my opinion the SuperDrive is a complete rip-off, I think it's disgraceful that apple is deleting firmware that enables 3rd party disc drives from working just so you pay that much for their overpriced drive. Buy a 3rd party one that you know works on Mac (look it up on google or something).

I've spent nothing.

I already had a magic mouse and a miniDP (thunderbolt) to HDMI adapter from my previous Mac.

Rough estimates here

$20 USB Stick for file transferring and whatnot
$30 Sleeve
$30 Pledged for the Nifty MiniDrive

So I guess a pricy high density MicroSD card will come next!

Will also eventually get a new bag for work. My current one is a designated 15" laptop bag, for fat laptops. Figured I don't need a "laptop bag" anymore, just a bag :)

~$200 for a 2TB usb 3 WD My Passport so I can take my complete iTunes library with me.

Not that much.
Sleeve: 25 euros
MacBracket: 20 euros

I don't need more stuff, I already have a desktop.

13/128/8gb Air - $1239 on tax free weekend
Shipping - $15
Sena Folio case - $75
Rocketfish USB3.0 enclosure - $15
Total = $1344

That's all for now. I will be getting an IPS monitor when I've paid off the Macbook though so I will be spending at least $150 more on it.

MacBook air 13 base with 8gb ram.
Philips 22 monitor.
Thunderbolt to dvi cable
In case 13" neoprene slim sleeve
Book arc for MacBook air.
Apple bluetooth keyboard
I carbons silicone, I think it's called that.

Dell u2412m -£215 (this is also used with two windows laptops to be fair)
Belkin mini dp to dp cable £8
Knomo 11" leather sleeve (breathe in that smell lol) £65

When I got my first iPad last march I went mad on accessories so still have the BT keyboard and bag that the air can also fit in.

1285€ air 13.3'' base model with 8GB ram
40€ - Parallels package ( included + 9 programs)
25€ - Sleeve
30€ - VGA adapter
99€ - External hard disk with USB 3.0

and counting. Dammit.

I have bought:

MacBook Air (should have been £1700 - got for £1250 with education pricing)
Incase Nylon Sling Sleeve - £50
Cheap USB Mouse - £3
Thunderbolt to Gig-Ethernet Adaptor (I'm a networking graduate) - £22
Ethernet Cable - £2
Thunderbolt to HDMI adaptor - £5
Manila Mac Sleeve - $41 ~= £27

I also bought an apple wireless kb and magic mouse - but didn't like them so took them back.
