Hey, just wondering if anyone knew how much a Macbook is with the higher education discount (univerysity/college) in the UK. This purchase would be for my girlfriend who starts her course in Septmber so have no access to the education section of the apple store yet.

Thanks

What size and spec are you looking at?

Just the basic stock Macbook, not the pro.

Ok, I know the base line 13" Macbook Pro is £858. Not sure about the Macbook though, I can estimate it by using the same multipliers but that may not be the correct value. Here goes:

MBP 13" - £999
MBP 13" w/ HE discount - £858
Multiplier - 1.1622566

Macbook - £816
£816/1.1622566 = £702

I would say that it might be a little bit higher than that because the multiplier gets smaller depending on the initial cost of the product.

excellent, thanks for the info. Out of curiosity how much is the stock 13" pro?
