Hi!
I'm off to Florida on holiday next week, I would like to pick up an iPad2 16GB Wi-Fi when I'm away.

I believe I can get a voucher/day pass for Sam's Club and do some shopping, can anybody confirm the prices of iPads as their website only shows prices to members.

Thanks!

From screenshots in earlier threads, Sam's Club sells for $10 cheaper (I.e. $489 for 16GB wifi).

Edit thought you meant iPad 3, my bad, never mind.

It was just their advertising said they sold stuff "up to" 30% cheaper than elsewhere, but since they it's members only I didn't know what the going rate was.

You could always go to www.samsclub.com and have a look there. :)

As for the biggest discounts, that's usually on stuff like baby formula, diapers, and wipes.

Edit, checked the site and iPad 2s go for $1 below New MSRP for 16GB models.

Sam's Club said:
Because our price on this item is lower than the manufacturer's "minimum advertised price", the manufacturer does not allow us to show you our price until you take further action, such as placing the item in your shopping cart, or in some cases, proceeding to the final checkout stage

Thanks! I won't bother with Sam's Club then, not worth the bother.

They do, but that only applies to the 10 kilo barrels of cheese puffs.

Apple gear is rarely/never more than a couple $ off MSRP.

The website will show prices to anyone. That members link is for you to pick the store you want to shop at.

 back at ya.

FWIW Micro Center is selling the iPad 2 WiFi 16GB for $349 right now (but no FL stores).
