The body is in great condition and it will also come with a black Colcasack (sp?).

I am wanting to buy the new 2012 version and I want to sell my 2010 to put towards the new one.

Have a look on eBay, find some MBP's with the same spec and similar condition to yours, 'watch' them and see how much they sell for.

Wow this is selling for much more on Ebay... even up to $1700.

I'd say around $1100. $1700 is wishful thinking. The highest price a similar model sold for is like $1350 and that is with a bunch of extra like Applecare etc.

I have Applecare and the case. The only thing mine lacks is 8g of ram as mine has 4g.
