I am looking into getting a Macbook Pro and I am considering this one from a seller on Craigslist.
15" 2010 2.67 GHz Intel Core I7
250GB SSD (upgraded recently) Originally had the 500GB HDD
4GB 1067MHz RAM
1680x1050 Display
NVidia 512MB GPU

He wants $1000 due to it being a 15" upgraded model with the SSD, fast processor, etc. Is it priced right? Or do you think it's a little high even with the upgrades? He has everything that originally came with it - box, paperwork, etc. and it is well taken care of. Not a scratch or mark on it.

I recently sold my 2010 MBP 15" for $900. It was in pristine condition, and I had the original box. I think his price is fair, considering it has an SSD. He also has an upgraded processor. Maybe talk him down to $950? I would also buy some aftermarket ram. It's very easy to install.

Thanks. I was also concerned with it being almost 4 years old. Does anyone have any opinions on how much longer it will be "OS X upgradeable" before it is left behind? I would think with it being an I7 it should still have many years left to go. What do you think? I am on the fence with getting this or just ordering a refurbished 2012 base model from Apple online store for the same money.
