Where are you selling it? If on ebay it's what ever they are selling for same as in Craiglist or Amazon. Problem with Macbook pros especially top of line models is they don't retain their value as much as the small ones. Why pay $1500 for a 2 year old computer if you can afford a new one for $1800-2000.

You can make a bit more money off them if you leave programs/music/movies on your HD.

Right.

I don't know where to sell it, but I am looking for a price.

Would I be able to get $1800 out of it on eBay? The ssd alone is worth about $450 and im including software.

In my opinion....

you can get between $1650-1800 provided the computer dont have cosmetic or functional issues. Software without keys is no so worthwhile, IMHO.....:(

Dont forget to factor in fees and shipping cost depending where you do bussiness....

highest prices I am seeing on ebay for it is 1400 and those are the buy now or best offer auctions.... no way your getting 1800 for it.

Thing is everyone on craigslist and ebay seems to just put pirated versions of Creative Suite and Office. I am fine with everyone having office as it cost $10 bucks if you work in a office building but creative suite for students is $250 for 1-2 installs. HOW DOES EVERYONE SELLING ONE HAVE IT !! :p
