Checking out my Verizon bill today and decided that the cost of mobile phone plans is just ridiculous. Just out of morbid curiosity, what is your bill every month?

Mine:

$147.00(Family plan with android and palm smartphones and 1400 minutes, unlimited text) This includes a 22% corporate discount.

Around $94.
Includes 4 lines, 500 minutes, unlimited text for all of us and no internet. But my brother just added internet but 94 is what it is usually.

I was on the Verizon prepay thing for $15 a month. I don't use my phone that much.

What provider do you have and do you have one of those "grandfather" plans from a few years ago? I pay almost this much for 3 lines and just 750 minutes, no texting, on Verizon. If I wanted texting I'd be paying an extra $30 a month, that's ridiculous! With tax too... just imagine the price.

at&t $29.95 plus tax comes out to around $37 a month for 300 anytime minutes, 500 nights and weekends, unlimited mobile to mobile. I don't even come close to using up my minutes. I don't text...

You got it. I think its $49.99 for 500 min(Free nights and weekends), $10 texting I think(Not each ), and $10 for an additional line. My mom has been with T-mobile for a very long time. And she always uses the bill as the excuse to not go to AT&T. But after seeing the other totals I can see why...

Mobile Bill no idea i am on prepaid.

However, my land line bill is around 129.00 - My internet, line rental, and call costs are all bundled. And cause someone is living in here with me it is split in half.

$88 for three phones, unlimited texting, 750 minutes (late night and weekends don't count, nor do calls from/to other subscribers)

I bet no one can top that $24 for one phone deal!

70ish, family plan 2 lines, 300 texting, 450 share mins, t-mobile.
compare to others seems to be a little bit too much for what i've got.

at&t here due to location and family coverage.

family plan with rollover, no data, no text... we're old. talk to each other or it didn't happen. $75 plus/minus per month. for 2 non-data phones. i'd love to have a different option, but due to the spouse work thing, cell connection is required.

1-Iphone 4
4- Iphone 3G

  • Have 2400 minutes (1400 minute plan, then add the 200 xtra minutes from the code U200)
  • unlimited txt
  • FAN discount
  • A-list calling

Total bill is usually around $260ish

The bill for our two smartphones on 500MB of data each and 300 shared domestic minutes was CHF 58.10 for June. We get 200 free texts each per month for paying the bill online and not receiving paper statements.

Overall, I think that it's a fair price.
