so i´m selling my eMac, and i´m thinking i should get a big enough box and enough protection to go around it, so it stays intact during the shipping. how much protection should i go for when shipping it? has anyone here shipped an eMac or something similar before?

some packing examples would be nice. thanks!

the size of the emac is: 15.8" x 15.8" x 17.1" (40.6cm x 40.6cm x 43.3cm)

how big should the box be?

Put it in an appropriately sized box, head to walmart and pick up bubble wrap (with the big bubbles) for five bucks, wrap it around it and put on a few layers, fill it with peanuts or crumpled news paper and you're good.

Also take care to cover/protect the CRT is some way. Maybe tape a piece of cardboard over the screen as well as fill with packing peanuts?
