The screen on my 15 M2 MBA looks great, but I'm getting a very distracting red spot in the bottom left. Does this look okay?

If you don't want light bleed, get the 14" or 16" MBP.

If you buy a 13" or 15" MBA, just accept that it is there.

could it be interference with anything? normally red could mean it's an ungrounded speaker or power port.
we've been lucky with our MBA's, but run them at low-brightness.
I haven't noticed this on ours (unfortunately), and have been really lucky w/ MBPro's.

ips panels will always have some light bleed, and the brighter they go, the more you will notice that. But if you arent working in that particular type of screen brightness, full brightness in a dark room and a black background, i doubt it would have much effect on your day to day usage.

In a dark room without any light, I didn't see any lightbleed on my MBA 15" even after cranking the brightness to max. But when I took a photo of the screen, I did notice the red tint and small lightbleed on the bottom. Even the casing had red tint. But when look at the screen with naked eye, I couldn't see any of these.

For me, it's mostly the camera's sensor to blame under low light conditions. I shot with my iPhone 12. Perhaps a better camera could give a fairer picture.
