How much memory can my G4 Powerbook handle?

I have a 15" Powerbook G4 1.5, currently with 2GB of ram. I know the party line is that this is maxed out; I was just wondering if it's possible to put a 2GB stick in the thing (and have it work)?

If so, who makes it? I checked crucial and newegg, but all I saw were 1GB sticks (which leads me to believe that it can't handle a 2GB stick, but I figured I'd ask).

I guess I'll have to gut it out for a while. I'm hoping to hold out until the end of the year before purchasing a new machine.
