Hi all. I own an IPhone 4s now and I use roughly 800 MB (megabytes) per month. I am thinking of switching to the IPhone 7. As you know the IPhone 7 has a higher resolution than the IPhone 4s.

My understanding is that because the IPhone 7 is at a higher resolution, even if my browsing habits does not change when I switch from an IPhone 4s to an IPhone 7, more data will be consumed by an IPhone 7 simply because of the higher resolution. Assuming my browsing habits, internet behavior, and use of applications does not change when I upgrade from an IPhone 4s to an IPhone 7, how much more data will I use?

The same. Web browsing won't change but instead it will just show it at a higher resolution. What uses data is email pushing, video streaming, online gaming ( not the candy crush like games) and music. I once almost spent 5GB on email pushing alone and once went over the limit on my data plan where AT&T throttled my data for the month because of it
