How much mV is the iphone 4s battery?

my iphone 4s has 3417mV battery but on the other hand my girlfriend's iphone 4 has 3651mV battery. isn't the 4s' battery suppose to be bigger than 4 ?

Voltage has nothing to do with capacity, as it will vary with charge level. Capacity is expressed in mAh. To find out the battery's current capacity, first charge it fully.

Your 3417 mV simply means it's putting out a little over 3 volts at that moment. It has nothing to do with capacity (i.e. how long it can power the phone.)

The numbers below are the stock battery capacities in milliAmp Hours. In other words, if an iPhone 4 was using 142 milliAmps in a certain configuration, it would last 10 hours.

iPhone 4 = 1420 mAh

iPhone 4S = 1432 mAh

So, yes, the 4S battery is slightly bigger. However, it's also a faster phone which requires more power, so it doesn't necessarily mean the bigger battery will make it last longer than an iPhone 4.

For comparison the Verizon galaxy nexus has a 1850 mah battery (2100 mah extended oem battery available, not any thicker) and the droid razr maxx has a 3400mah battery. They both use omap 4 soc's which also more power efficient than the a5.
