I will be getting two iPad (Air). One to read my work stuff and one for personal stuff. Do I need to consider protecting them. I value their lightness. When I had the iPad 4, I had both the smart cover and the sfbags ultimate slip case. The smart cover frequently came off or was awkward, but I did like the sleep function. When using it "naked", I was coscious of the weight difference.
My new IPads will both be used at home and at the office or out of the house. The balance of use will be definately be skewed toward home use, but by no means exclusively so.
I also have an iPad Muzetto shoulder bag from SF Bags, which I really like that I use when I take them outside the house or to the office.
They will be taken periodically to my office and outside meetings and will be taken on Vacation in December.
Options:
1) Naked iPad at home?
2) Sleeve at home so that I can stand them next to the bed when not in use and have them in a sleeve at the office.
3) New iPad Smart Cover and no sleeve.
4) New iPad Smart Case from Apple.
5) combination of Smart Cover and sleeve when at home and in the office.
6) Combination of Apple Smart case and sleeve when at home and in the office.
I do value lightness, but have been known to occasionally drop stuff because of vision/coordination issues.
I upgrade frequently, if that is an issue.
What strikes you as the best balance?
Thanks
Jay
