Hi,

I bought my macbook in Jan 07. Right now I have 1 GB in two slots. Apple tells me that I can only upgrade to 2GB where as Canadaram.com suggests I can go as high as 3.3 GB for this model.

All I know about the model is that it has C2D and 2GHz.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks

You can get 2x1GB, 2GB + 1GB or 2x2GB. The second case will leave you without dual channel (~5% less ram performance) and in the last case only 3.3 GB will be recognised because the hardware in the machine isn't fully 64-bit compatible.
