I have a couple technical questions and hope I can find some answers from the experience in this forum.
So thank in advance...

I recently purchased a late 2011 17in MBP.
I have upgrade to a 512 GIG Samsung SSD. I will be looking at replacing the superdrive with a 500 GIG 7200 RPM HDD for storage.

My question's are;
I read in another post of this forum that our CPU's can handle 1600 MHZ RAM, do we know this for sure?
I currently have 16 GIG's of RAM, but can it handle 32? I found a site selling 16 GIG modules and it made me curious. Site is below.

http://www.provantage.com/scripts/s...16+GB&A3=311971&V3=1600+MHz&A4=31540&V4=16+GB

So watcha think:)?
Any info is always appreciated.
Thanks again.
Dana

Thank you Freyqq.
Looks like I will be upgrading to 32 Gigs of RAM a 1600 MHZ:)

Not to mention how 16GB x2 does not exist yet...
And it will cost nearly over 1.5K.

Stay with the 16GB.
The module for 16x2 should come out by this or next year but as I said, pricey.
