Hey guys, my mom just got an older Macbook for free and wanted me to see if I could "buy some rams" for it. I'm a bit iffy on the details but I think these used DDR2 and maxed out at 2 gigs?

This one has 1 gig in it so I was thinking of buying 2 gigs of DDR2 from newegg or amazon and putting them in for her.

Thanks in advance!

You can find specs on all Apple products, including maximum supported RAM:
  • By visiting EveryMac.com
  • By using Mactracker
  • By entering your serial number here to find specs for your model. (Be aware that some models can use more RAM than Apple shows. Check EveryMac or MacTracker to verify.)
