i'm only getting 2 gigs (out of 6) to show up.
i had thought that xp could address (is that the right word?) up to 4 total w/ a limit of 2 going to any single app.

i wonder, could it be because it'll only see the first 2 sticks which are currently 1x1?

this is more of a curiosity than a pressing issue since i'm just running xp for games, but it's not outside the realm of possibility that i may want to run windows only audio apps at some point so i figured i'd do a little research...

It should see 3GB. 32 bit version of xp, right?

You have to use the /3gb switch to access more than 2GB in Windaz.

Read here.

correct me if i'm wrong here, but i was under the impression that the 3 gig switch is used to let an app utilize 3 gigs, rather than the os.
