What is an appropriate selling price for my ipad 4 wifi only 32 gb?

Thanks

If Craigslist remember to ask for more than its worth, and allow yourself room to be talked down.

I asked for $350 for my iPad 3 (32gb) with hope of getting $300.

Lucked out and got $350.

I am buying a 16 GB iPad 4 for $350 on Craigslist. The Refurb price is $379. I'd imagine 32 GB being in the 400-430 price range.

It's amazing people expect electronics products to maintain 70% of its value after 12 months an out of warranty.

Factor in supply and demand. Other options for refurbs.

And iPad 4 $350 is on the high end of what I would pay for 16gb wifi model.

Why is the resale value so low - WOW only 300 bucks?

I listed my 64GB wifi with Smart Cover for $450 for quite a while and was getting offers in the $350 range.

One, used buyers care more about price than capacity. The 16gb model sets the price floor. Two, between sales, returns, and the fact that you can buy a brand new Mini for $400 retail price, it's hard to get much more than that.

I ultimately took Target's $200 for my ipad 1 and decided to keep the 4.

It was coming with a black leather smart cover but i'm going to go with an iPad air or retina mini after all so thanks for the advice. I had to attempt at future proofing and $350 was a bit much to not be future proofed especially when $50 bucks i'm future proof and i'd have a nice gift card to give for Christmas.

I just sold my 16 gb Ipad 3 on ebay for $350 with a buy it now. Didn't think I was gonna get that much. Picked up my new Air from Target last night.

$350-$425 should be a good asking price range. The other thing would be to cross-compare what the trade-in value or the purchase price is from stores that will buy them. Gamestop has the best price comparison for purchase I've seen so far.

Game stop isn't even offering 300 dollars in cash - I think it was around 250-270

But they have 30% bonus. Just buy cheap $1-2 used game.
I got $416 for my iPad 4 64 GB credit (not cash). Plus 30% bonus. Brought $2 used game. For 30%.

Got $540 gamestop credit. Purchased $540 worth of amazon gift cards at gamestop.

No way anywhere else would give me $540 for iPad. 4 64gb.

So $250-280 credit for iPad 4 16gb. Is worth easily $340-350 gamestop credit with 30% bonus. No hassle if in mint condition.

How much should I be able to sell my iPad for?

You would have gotten more if you signed up for the power up rewards. You get 10% extra:)!it is 15$ for the membership but you would get around 45$ extra with that extra 10%. Just sayin:)
I got 260$ for a 16gb AT&T iPhone 4 around a year ago.
