So MBP had some logic board issues and that's being replaced by apple for free(thank god). So I'm thinking its time to sell this thing while I can still get a reasonable amount.

It's a Mid-2010 15" MacBook Pro
2.4ghz i5
4gb ram
256gb ssd Samsung (upgraded myself after)

In great condition, about to list it on Craigslist, what's a fair amount you'd pay for this?

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), and Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.

I can buy one with a 2.66ghz processor and Apple Care until November right now on eBay for $650.

I've had mine listed on Craigslist for about a month at $1100 hoping to get $900 or so for it. I've had some bites, but still have it.

Mines the almost the same spec, 2.4 i5, mid-'10, 8gb, 128GB 840 pro + 320GB data doubler.
