How much should i upload?

Ok i know talking about torrents is not cool here but this question is about uploading, lets say i download 300 MB video legal ofcorse. How much should i upload? or what is the right amount to upload.

I always try to atleast upload 100% of the amount i download, should i be doing more?

Short funny story - I downloaded a 200MB file and uploaded 90GB :) was away for a few days and left comp on :)
