How much space do apps usually take on average?

I don't own an iPhone YET, but I do have to go from an 80GB iPod down to 32GB [GRRRR @ NO 64GB!!!], so I was wondering how much on average do apps take up?

apps range from a few megs to upto 1.5 gb. that is the biggest i know of. it really depends what you are downloading. if you dont plan on putting all your music on the iphone, youll be fine, trust me.

I have 2GB of apps....I don't use a lot of them. I guess I could delete some if I needed to but I have plenty of space.
