How much space taken up on new MBP by preinstalled software?

I'm about to purchase a new MBP and I was wondering how much space is taken up from the initial OS X and pre-installed apps. I want to get the 256GB but want to make sure I have enough space after the initial pre-installed software.

I want to say you have about 220-230gb free when you get it from Apple. There isn’t much pre-installed other than the standard iWork suite: GarageBand, iMovie, keynote, pages, and numbers. All of which can be removed if you desire.
