Often, I think that I spend way too much time on my Mac. Really, it's all that I do when I do have some free time.

For me, I have to qualify "time" by separating it into computer usage at work (where I use a Dell, and not by choice) and usage at home when I'm on my time and it is by choice.

Work usage is a good 3-4 hours each day. Usage at home on my Mac is probably 5-6 hours each day. Mostly surfing the net and Mac sites (forums, etc.).

THAT'S 8-10 HOURS EACH DAY!

I wonder if that's a lot compared to everyone else on here?

How much time do you spend on your Mac?

haha, macs are addicting. I spend way too much time on my iMac.
Looking to buy a macbook soon. Damn Apple.

I'm a web dev., use my mac in class, and I use it a little at home. That is it, so I assume any given day I see my friendly screen for 6+/- hours.

I get sick of looking at after 6pm though, if I haven't stuck it on my desk before 5:30.

For the past 12 months, I've been using it for around 12-16 hours a day. Sometimes I don't use it at all, but on most days, that's how much I used it.

Dissertations don't write themselves, and neither do computer simulations or MR posts.

A lot, since Julyish I've probably spent about 12 hours+ a day on my iMac, under XP though. The Mac side itself is more for relaxation... iPhoto, DVD playback and all that. I only spend a few hours in OSX a week. I'd like more but meh. Nothing I can do about that since the software I need hasn't been ported to OSX, and I'm not using emulation software and slowing it all down :p

Well, I have to use Windows at work... but thanks to Fusion, I can do that on my MBP. add to that my recreational time at home, and I'd have to say 10+ hours/day. No wonder I can't get anything else done and it's taking me 3 years to build my house! :p

Mine comes to work with me, i run VMware

work is 8am till 5pm

I come home grab a beer then 5:30 till 8pm

Weekends mostly all day up and till 4.

Roughly 12 hrs depends, if someone puts a movie on or something at home.

8 hrs a day at work plus at least 4 to 5 hrs at home should become 12-13 hours a day.

(Plus another hour or so on my iPhone and/or iPod on the commute to work.)

I still have to use my own MacBook at work (the alternative is a piece of pooh PC), so that's all on my own Mac... gonna see my boss about that this week... ;)
