Hi to all!

I created an account just to ask this!

I'm measuring the time it takes my MacBook Pro Mid 2012 to go to sleep when I close the lid!

The time that passes from the point of closing the lid and when the standby light starts to strobe is between 46 seconds and 1:15 minutes.

I know this is still a beta! but what has been your experience with this on your mac's?

FYI:

My "pmset -g" the "hibernatemode 3" is in it's defaults.

UPDATE:
When I set in terminal "pmset -a hibernatemode 0" to not store the memory on "/var/vm/sleepimage" the time it takes is about 34 to 40 seconds.

If this is a common behavior! I guess we will have to wait for the next release.

Not really. But anyway, with a SSD, my laptop goes to sleep instantly or in less than 6 seconds with Mavericks. With ML, sleep was almost always instant or took place in less than 3 seconds. Speeds are with hibernate mode set to 0. Mavericks is still slower so far, but it's still a Beta.

When I close the lid, I'm done with the machine. I don't care how long it takes to go to sleep.
