Hello,
I am thinking about selling my MBP that I bought in Feb 2014. I bought as a big bday gift to myself, but I don't use it nearly as much as I thought (only has 10 battery cycles) because I am so busy with work and family, quite honestly, I could use the funds for other things that have popped up recently (the woes of being a homeowner).
Anyway, I see that refurbs are selling at $1989, so I am wondering what I should expect to get if I decide to put up my MBP on an auction website or local ads. If I decide to use ebay, then I don't know if it's best to set a price and hope for a quick sale, or just do a no reserve auction. I see that this particular model has sold recently for about $1800-1900.
If I use something like Craigslist, I am worried about scammers and meeting someone in person (obviously somewhere in public), but this is not a cheap item... but it's cash and does not have the fees like ebay with selling an item, paypal, etc.
I appreciate any advice as to what I will realistically get for it.
