A friend of mine would like to try to get a used powerbook 15" 1.5 to try to save a few bucks off the price of new, and we figure this might be a good time to get one because people might be selling them to buy G5 desktops.
What would be a fair estimated value of such a thing? I''ve looked on craigslist and ebay but sometimes it's hard to tell between the scammers (1,500.00 from a guy in italy who offered to sell her ten if she only prepaid the "shipping tax") and the people who are trying to get exactly what they paid for it. For example, just assuming a stock model, (w/superdrive), for is $1900 too good to be true?
