How much to pay

I'm looking for a G3 or 4 and a G5. I'm starting to acquire the Macs I always liked but never had. Some are being restored to factory and some are going to be used as bases for mods. How much do you guys think these go for or what would you pay for a mint compared to one that would have the internals scrapped.

I think some may go for $120 to $250+ There are still G5s that are in Mint and well taken cared of in eBay that you can check out. I remember during those years , the quality of the hardware materials used is superb and maybe one of the best.

Clamshells - $50-100. The ones with the AirPort card installed go higher. Ones with dead batteries are in the $50 range.

Anything newer and you're talking up to $250-400, especially for the Power Mac G5 and iMac G4.

I wouldn't pay anything for a heavily modified machine, and neither will most people. You're asking yourself for trouble if you're going to try and fit Intel parts into an iMac. Like really.
