I been thinking on selling my early '08 MBP and I need some advice to see what's a good price. Here are the specs:

MacBook Pro 17 in Matte screen
OS - Snow Leopard
Processor - 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
RAM - 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 512 MB
Hard Drive - 300GB

MBP is in mint condition (just a few outer scratches) and has all the disks including Snow Leopard.

Thanks

Thank you guys, I'll check them out, seems I can get more if I load it with software before hand.

Do you intend to also give the licenses to the buyer? If not, that is not really that legal as per EULAs of many paid applications and might get your and/or the seller in trouble, especially unwitting ones.

I would say....

$650-750 tops. Can go up based in no functional/cosmetic issues and good care of the machine.

Also, if selling through an online site, factor in shipping costs/fees

simsaladimbamba- As far as software goes it would just be microsoft office '08 and lightroom 3 (I have newer version so I will ship keys with both.

phoenixsan- Thanks, seems like that's the most they are going, hopefully I can get close to that. I will account for shipping too, hopefully is not too much.
