How much will taxes be for 4S if buy from AT&T? in California

I have read some stuff about subsidized pricing, can somebody tell me the price I will be charged for taxes? I am in California.

The Tax % will vary depending on what City and Tax District you live in.

I live in Modesto, Ca and our tax is 7.35%, but I work in San Jose, Ca and the tax there is 8.25%

Does anybody know if Apple charges a activation fee? I will be going through Apple afterall but through ATT carrier, im currently using a "upgrade" from my old iPhone 4 so it isnt new service or anything

The upgrade fee will show on your next wireless bill (I believe its $18).

If you buy the $199.99 phone, it's total will be $259.49. You are taxed on the full price of the phone, not the discounted price.
