I have a MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel i5 320GB mid 2010 that I'm trying to sell because the motherboard is faulty, and I need to have it plugged in at all times. I need something portable at university so am selling it. If I got the mother board fixed, how much roughly would this be worth?

I really have no idea what figure to give people!
Thanks

How did you check that your mobo was faulty? Your battery may just need to be replaced. Did you take it in to an Apple store? If it is turning on, that typically means your mobo is working ok. Logicboard replacements are typically very expensive, sometimes $300-$400. If it stopped having issues, you could probably get around $600 for it, assuming it is the 15" model. Look up "sold" listings on ebay to get an estimate. Those are a typically a pretty good range.
