Im wondering since I'm saving up for one and am curious to know. Converted it's 450, so I HOPE its 500 but how much do you think the iPhone will cost in Australia?

Well....the iPhone and the ipod touch (16 gb) cost the same in America, so......the iPod touch (16 gb) here costs $550 so you would think the iPhone would cost $550. It just seems logical. I am guessing the plan's will be some of the highest in the country though.

If you want it outright i think it will be a bit more than 500, if it's sold through apple as one would expect then that should keep the prices lower than if they were just being sold through the phone companies like what happens with all the Nokia and Sony Ericssons as they new big release nokias are usually sold for $1000-1500. Although if they sell 'unlocked through apple' iphones they will most likely cost within that range just like what happened in Europe.
