I'm debating if I should make this myself, or hire it done. I'm leading toward hiring someone because while I *could* do it I doubt it would look very professional. I'm looking at something like the top layout of www.linuxtracker.org i.e a simple banner with *maybe* an ad next to it with links below to a simple about us page a link to our blog (blog.myurl.com, which I will admin myself with wordpress) and so on, I can't really think of what else at the moment. Then another banner type thing below again like www.linuxtracker.org Also the about us will only be purely text as will the home page except for a paypal icon to subscribe. I was just wondering how much this might cost?

If all you are looking for is a custom WordPress theme, I do not lie when i say it really isn't that difficult. I followed this tutorial to make this site, and while it's certainly nothing flashy, simple add-ins like ad banners and paypal links take 2 minutes to add in when you're done.
