How often are the free printer etc deals when buying new Macs?

I'm looking to finally upgrade from my beloved black macbook.
Looking at 13" MB Pros. Doesn't Apple throw in extra goodies every now and then when you buy a new laptop. Is that just at the beginning of the school year? Just curious.
I live in Washington State so I will definitely buy my new Mac in no tax Oregon

Yes, I got a free printer after $100 rebate. Honestly I use them until the ink cartridges run out. They are $50 to replace. But

The free printer deal has stopped for good as far as I know. The "back to school" promotion usually starts end of may/beginning of June so you may want to wait if you are a student. Also Apple is expected to announce a new MacBook Pro at WWDC on June 11th.

Cool thanks for the replies guys.
I know they prob give out the bottom of the barrel HP excuses for printers,
but it's still nice to get extra goodies when you are still plunking down 2k
for a laptop! I just talked to a friend who said he got a printer and an Ipod
when he bought his MBpro.
