I'm just wondering cause I'm trying to buy an iPhone 5s for myself before I fly for a trip in October..

Does anyone know when they get shipments? and also can I walk in and ask them for an AT&T iPhone 5s (if they have it in stock) and pay full price without contract? -- Cause I don't have a line that's eligible for an upgrade and I don't mind paying full price. (Will they ask for any info, etc.. when buying it? Like what do i say?)

For the 5 last year, my local apple store updated their inventory nightly. So when they were sold out for the day, a delivery would come in and after midnight, the stock was refreshed and I was able to view availability.

I really wish that apple stores got late saturday delivery that they held over for saturday. I could go line up for a bit tomorrow, but during the week that is not really an option so i am going to be out of luck for a while it seems.

Thanks for all the replies. So my best bet would be to get there Monday Morning? I'm guessing that I could buy an AT&T iPhone 5s off contract if i tell them "I want to buy an AT&T iPhone 5s off Contract" they could just go in the back and sell me the phone? No other info needed?

I haven't bought an Off contract phone before that's why i'm really curious.

If they don't get Sunday deliveries I'd say the best bet is Monday afternoon.

Just got my 5s. So funny thing about today..

I called them at about 11:30. They said they don't have any in stock. So what I did was. I drove about 15-20 minutes to get to my local Apple Store.

I walked in, and asked them if they had any AT&T iPhone 5s in stock. The lady up front was like "yeah, we have a lot of space gray in 16 and 32, and a few in silver, but we're out of stock of Gold"

SO. Moral of the story is. If you call your apple store and they tell you that they don't have any 5s in stock.. (obviously gold will be too) Just go to your local apple store and walk in and ask them if they have it. Cause when I got there she had sold maybe to 5-10 people after me.

We just had to wait a few minutes for them to get it from the back and then that's it. Pay then leave.
