How often does 'Find my phone' update GPS?

This feature now available with IOS 4.2.1 looks great and
I've been using a similar app called "FoneHome" which you can manually configure the interval that the app checks it's GPS position and updates the server. (I have it set to every hour)

Now I'm wondering how often "Find my phone" updates it's GPS position as I wondered if it would drain the battery any quicker?
