Hi,

Sorry if this is some sort of newbie question but I got an ipod touch about 3 weeks ago and have fully charged it 10 times to date. I usually use it till it wont come on anymore. I have had a bad experience with batteries period. They usually mess up on me. I don't want to mess up this one also. Any advice? How often should I recharge it on like a weekly basis or whatever? Thanks

It is based on usage. Obviously if the iPod won't turn on, its time to charge. This is a good resource when it comes to general guidelines for using the battery of an iPod.

Don't let it die before you plug it in again. Try to plug it in before it reaches 50%, but don't worry too much if you have to dip below once in a while.

Lithium batteries don't like being fully drained. You're wearing it out prematurely by always waiting until it runs empty.

There is no battery "memory". Plug it in regularly.
