How often should I do a tether-boot?

I have a tethered iPhone. Is it bad for my device if it says on for weeks or even months without being turned off and tether-booted?

If I were you I think I'd be thankful that you haven't had to do a tethered boot yet! :p

Honestly I don't think it matters but if you're worried about it then do it. :)
