So I finally tried Qi charging with my X and it’s really convenient. You’d think there is no big difference and plugging in a cable takes two seconds longer, but the fact is putting my phone on a pad makes it easy to do quick charges I wouldn’t do otherwise.
With that said, I have a question - how often should I do it? For example, with my usage, the X battery lasts easily through the day and I charge over night. So lets say I’m at home and my phone is laying on the desk with 80% battery. Usually I wouldn’t bother to plug it in, but in this case, I might as well put it on a charging pad instead of a desk. Of course, I may pick it up from time to time to read a message or do something quick. So, my question is: do I just drop it off on the pad whenever I get the chance or just occasionally?
I am not obsessed with prolonging the health of my battery, but it’s not really a problem to do what’s best for the battery in this case - so why wouldn’t I? But, I have no idea what is the best thing to do - charge it from time to time during the day or just put it on the pad every chance I get. Any advice?
