The only reason I still sync my iPad to my Mac (aside from updates) is to create new smart playlists, delete old ones, delete tracks, change meta data, create albums/smart albums for photos, rate, and tag them. Can iOS 5 do this now? I haven't heard any word that it can, but if it could, then that would be what finally makes it an autonomous PC free machine.
