iPad Pro How photo and video files from iPad and iPhone show up on NAS?

Hi, the storage of my 256GB iPad Pro is full. iPhone storage is going to be full soon. How the photos and videos files naming is like in case of backing up in NAS. Do photos and videos from iPad appear as a bunch of files with numbers as the names? Similarly, do photos and videos from iPhone show up in a separate folder? Can NAS combine all photos from iPhone and iPad into one folder and all videos from both devices into another folder? Can we get thumbnail previews?
